We know all about the stress of moving. We've created these checklists to make things as easy as possible for you.

Whether you're moving out of a home currently managed by us or you're preparing to join the Great Homes family, it's important that you address all of the responsibilities on your plate. Move-in Checklist

Welcome to your Great Homes rental property.

First Month's Rent & Deposit

The first month's rent and deposit are both due at the lease signing. Please check the amounts with our team in advance.

Move-in Date & Inspection

Your move-in information and initial inspection details will be provided at the lease signing. If you have any questions, our management team will direct you accordingly.

Utilities

As a tenant with us, you are responsible for keeping all utility accounts in good standing. Speak with a member of our team to learn more.

Move-out Checklist

Preparing to end your lease?

Notice of Intent to Vacate

You'll need to provide our team with written notice of your intent to vacate your property. Please refer to the terms and conditions of your lease for more information.

Security Deposit

Your security deposit protects against any damage that could occur during your stay. We will inspect your rental home after your departure and return the funds to you as quickly as possible.

Your security deposit cannot be used to pay your last month's rent. 

 

Property Condition

Make sure your rental home has been carefully cleaned and all damage has been repaired before you hand in the keys.

  • Rental Cleaning: Remove all of your personal belongings from your property, as well as garbage. Pay extra attention in the bathroom and kitchen spaces.
  • Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: Please also remove any trash from the outside of your home and take care of any landscaping responsibilities once more before vacating.
  • Repairs: If any damage occurred during your stay, please speak to a member of our team to find an amicable solution.
